Primary Insurance Coverages is one oft he assigned courses in Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation program. The purpose of this course is to provide students with a broad understanding of the property and liability loss exposures faced by most individuals and organizations and the corresponding types of personal and commercial insurance that can be used to cover those loss exposures.
The participants get to know the US insurance solutions and see the differences between the US and the Swiss market. The knowledge of insurance solutions will be broadened. This allows a systematic comparison of contracts. The understanding of technical differences between the different insurance coverages will increase.

Timeframe
Due to the fact that people targeting the ARe Diploma have usually an already existing knowledge of insurance coverages we offer this module exclusively in self study. Thanks to the well structured material we are confident that this will be sufficiently supportive to pass the exam. Please plan to study around 4-7 hours (1 chapter) per week. Additional time one needs to set aside for preparing the exam and getting the complete overview and training for the full material.
