GTC
General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
These Terms and Conditions apply to all courses, training and other services provided by IIS Insurance Institute of Switzerland.
1. Registration
You can register for courses and training orally, by e-mail, fax, letter or at IIS's website. When registering, who is liable for the course fee (private or company) has to be specified. Registration is binding unless it contains such an express, relevant restriction. Unless expressly offered or agreed otherwise, registration for training consisting of multiple courses (modules) shall apply to all the courses (modules) that are part of said training.
2. Confirmation of course registration and payment of the course fees
After registering for a course, we will send you confirmation. The invoice and pay-in slip will be sent to the billing address specified. Course fees are payable at the beginning of courses or on the date for payment specified in the invoice. For training that consists of multiple courses (modules), the course fees are to be paid in each instance (modules) at the beginning of the course. Payment of a course fee entitles you to participate in the course.
3. Course organisation
For organisational reasons, we reserve the right to change the times, days and locations of courses. Such changes shall never entitle one to withdraw from the course or to any reduction of course fees.
4. Participants and realisation
In order to realise courses under optimum conditions, we set a minimum and maximum number of participants for each course. Course places are assigned in the sequence of registration. Should there be an insufficient number of participants, the course will not be realised, and the course fee refunded.
5. Deregistration from courses and training
Deregistration must be made in writing. Deregistration shall take effect on the date of receipt at IIS. In cases of deregistration, the following charges will apply:
Time of deregistration Charge

15 to 21 days prior to start: 50% of the course fee
