Switzerland is one of the most important reinsurance markets in the world. As the complexity of risk increases and the changes in risk potentials increase, the knowledge requirements of the personnel in reinsurance companies and reinsurance brokers ascend. These factors highlight the current importance of education in these fields.

Alongside your professional occupation the IIS offers a highly respected reinsurance education in English. The new curriculum features electives that provide flexibility and let you tailor your study. You will gain an enhanced understanding of reinsurance terms and pricing, reinsurance treaties, and facultative certificates. You will also develop the necessary skills to design a reinsurance program. The program consists of 5 modules: 4 mandatory (including one contemporary reinsurance on-line-readings) and 1 elective. There are attractive waiver possibilities for some of the modules! The successful achievement leads to the ARe diploma issued by The Institutes (former IIA, Insurance Institute of America).

Each module can be taken individually, without participating in the whole ARe program.

The courses are suitable for all persons, who are active in the reinsurance or insurance business or who deal with large international insurance programs.
